As more information centers use third-party vendors such as LexisNexis, Thomson Reuters (Westlaw) and 3M Library Systems, there is a growing need for negotiation in the workplace. Since this is not an area of expertise, some library professionals may be intimidated by the idea of negotiating with vendors.
