IT Program Specialist - LAC Group

Location: USA - DC - Washington DC

LAC Group seeks a number of qualified IT Program Specialists to support program oversight at a federal agency in the Washington DC area. Successful candidates will provide oversight, lifecycle support and solutions to the agency OCIO. They will manage, coordinate, and synthesize critical activities and functions across the IT portfolio. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities will be divided among multiple employees and include the following:
• Maintain, update and refine a portfolio management structure and associated processes
• Strategic support services to plan for future services and infrastructure
• Acquisitions support
• Allocation and utilization of financial resources across projects and services
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Provide a system architecture to guide technology decisions
• Transition IT projects through their lifecycle from development to operation
• Facilitate communication between OCIO and customers
• Provide business case analysis including project initiation, planning and execution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field
• 4+ years experience providing IT program oversight in one or more of the task areas listed above
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and culturally diverse environment.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills complemented by the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Candidates must be able to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021, for consideration
