Indexer - LAC Group

Location: USA - DC - Washington DC

LAC Group is seeking an Indexer to work at the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC. This unique position will work for both indexing operation and research services within the IMF library. The selected candidate will not only work on improving the content access, but also interact with clients to help their research tasks. This is a full-time, benefited opportunity.

Qualifications:

• MLS or similar required
• Two years’ experience indexing with controlled vocabularies and subject terms
• Ability to develop an understanding of subject matter in finance and international development
• Knowledge of SharePoint and MetaLogic preferred
• Ability to learn established indexing procedures
• Excellent writing ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage work independently and accurately with minimal mistakes
