I think most patrons view going to the library as a transaction instead of an event. Parents need introduce children at a young age to the traditional library setting. This is key in making people more aware of the library and what it can do for them.

In the 12 months before the most recent Pew survey was given, only 44 percent of Americans visited a local library or bookmobile.
