One question I am frequently asked for advice on is what questions should a candidate ask in an interview. This is a really good question, but the reality is that there is no one correct answer. In general, the “questions” part of the interview is for the candidate to learn more about the employer, role, environment, etc. that you cannot read in a job description. Questions should be intelligent, show you have done your research, but should also be important to what you are looking for in a new job opportunity. The following are some questions to help put you on the right track:
You know it’s coming. The interview is close to wrapping up and you sense it’s on the tip of their tongue and then – just like that – the interviewer politely asks you, “What questions do you have for me?”
