Library Manager, Children's & Family Services - Altadena Library District

Location: USA - CA - Altadena

The Altadena Library District is looking for a Library Manager for our Children’s and Family Services Department. We are seeking an imaginative and creative individual who is passionate about promoting literacy, developing programs, providing reader’s advisory, working on outreach initiatives within our community, and training and mentoring staff. The ideal candidate has several years of supervisory experience in the library world and enjoys working with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program is required. Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in professional library work is required. The position is non-exempt, and shifts include working nights and weekends.
