Legislation Researcher/Translator - German (Virtual) - LAC Group UK

Location: UK - Virtual - Remote

LAC Group UK is seeking a Legislation Researcher/Translator whose native language is German for short-term engagements that can be undertaken remotely, from home. This posting concerns assignments that will be allocated during 2018, for as yet unspecified numbers of hours of work. Success on the first assignment will lead to further opportunities, in both German and English. Hence, the selected individual, in addition to having native or native-like fluency in German, must be fluent in English and be able to present good written English.

The focus will be a direct review of current legislation and the recording of specific elements thereof. Candidates should be good communicators and be able to demonstrate previous research experience. Previous legal training or experience is not necessary but some familiarity with legal terminology would be desirable. Full project descriptions will be provided, supervisors appointed and on-line training will be provided.

Pay rates for this work are limited to US$18 (or equivalent) per hour. Preference will be given to candidates who do not currently have full-time work commitments and could devote at least 20 hours per week to this project.​
