Innovation & Entrepreneurship Librarian - UC Irvine

The University of California, Irvine Libraries has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and collaborative professional to serve as the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Librarian (IEL). Nestled in the heart of Orange County, an ethnically diverse community which is one of the most vibrant hubs of innovation and business development in California, UCI is strategically committed to engagement with the community through the exchange of information, ideas, and resources. To achieve this mission, the UCI Libraries is piloting an outreach effort to provide library research and instructional support to meet the growing demand across the University for services and resources that support innovation and entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will bring energy, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to help launch this pilot effort. This is a temporary, two-year position.

Interested candidates from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, including early career librarians who are eager to contribute to this challenging new venture and who want to grow professionally through mentorship by a team of collaborative colleagues, are encouraged to apply.

Appointment is anticipated to be at the Assistant Librarian or Associate Librarian rank with a salary of $49,165 - $67,722.
