Information Scientist Technologist (Remote) - LAC Group

Location: USA - Virtual - Remote

LAC Group seeks a Remote Information Scientist Technologist for a large, renowned manufacturing organization. The Information Scientist Technologist will be part of the Science & Innovation Library Services team and will be responsible for training, outreach, reference support, and active content portfolio management. This is a full-time benefited remote opportunity that must be able to work regular hours on an ET/CT schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work within library processes to automate (e.g., create accounts) and systematize responses for frequently asked questions

• Support and develop vendor and internal training content (hosted webinars, elearning materials); create research information service eLearning modules to support global community
• Design and share internal annual surveys and analyze results for actionable feedback

• Connect effective information delivery and R&D productivity
• Analyze and optimize processes to ensure value

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s in Library Science degree strongly preferred
• At least 2+ years of experience in information services and/or science research in a corporate or scientific environment. Experience with UI/UX, survey design and needs assessment creation is preferred.
• Experience with spreadsheets and large data sets is required.
• Must be able to work ET/CT regular work hour schedule
