Business Development Specialist (Publishing) - LAC Group

Location: USA - DC - Washington DC

LAC Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist (Publishing) to work for an international non-profit organization in Washington, DC. This is a 6-weeks (40 hours a week; Monday to Friday) contract position, with potential to extend depending on additional funding. Work must be performed on-site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Institutional Licensing team with day to day business development tasks; demonstrating a high level of flexibility and dedication to success
• Using internal customer data, identify gaps in customer subscriptions
• Assist with writing reports that present top sales and marketing targets
• Create and manage customer profiles and contacts in Salesforce

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or library science
• Perform liaison duties to the publishing department
• Technical Proofreading & Editing including Data entry
• Must be proficient with Salesforce and Excel - able to create and use pivot tables experience a must
• Must be curious and analytical, able to sift through data to find patterns.
