Branch/Initiative Manager for Learning - Pierce County Library System

While this position description This is a Leadership position responsible for effectively managing operations and activities in support of the Library’s Learning Initiative, serving all-ages; participates in system-wide planning and projects; actively engages adult and youth services Librarians in accomplishing learning programs and services; engages the community and ensures service aligns with local residents’ needs; oversees collection; interacts with and provides direct library services to customers.

- Will be customer-focused; an excellent communicator and supervisor; have a proven ability to lead and implement change, develop and support staff, and participate in a system that believes in continual improvement.

Compensation: Pierce County Library System offers a compensation program which recognizes qualifications and experience relevant to each position. The starting pay is established typically within the hiring range below based upon the experience of the individual hired into the role. Our compensation package also includes annual increases for each additional year of experience and tenure in the role, up to the maximum (current year maximum outlined in pay grade range below). Eligibility for overtime is exclusive to position, which are FLSA status non-exempt.
Full Pay Grade Range: $67,724.80 - $93,766.40 annually
Hiring Range: $67,724 - $78,520 annually, FLSA exempt, non-union represented
Schedule: Forty (40) hours per week, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Schedule is subject to change
