On Standby for Classes at CSU

Nearly 80 students packed into a basic accounting class at San Francisco State University on Tuesday, the first day of the fall semester, while dozens more spilled into the hallway hoping to get a seat. Unfortunately, this scenario is repeating itself all over CSU campuses. In the CSU system students register for classes Students register online at a time assigned to them. But because of deep budget cuts, many students found that classes were full by the time they were told to sign up. On the San Francisco State campus $30.2 million dollars have been cut from the budget equating in the 354 less classes.
