PhD An Ad Hoc PhD program is offered to students that want to pursue interdisciplinary research topics within the Library and Information studies field but at a doctoral level.
Certificates Offer a Graduate Certificate in Library and Information Studies.
An ALA accredited MLIS is required to be admitted into the 15 credit Certificate Program.

School Library Media Program/Certification No.

Post-Masters Offer a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information studies.
An ALA accredited MLIS is required to be admitted into this 30 credit program. This program is for those already in the Library profession that may want to specialize or redirect their careers.

Tuition PhD Tuition (based on fulltime student):
Canada: $3,099.32
International: $10,591
Certificate and Post-Masters programs are charged at a per credit rate.
MLIS tution (based on 24 credits, full time students):
Quebec Resident: $2,857.84
Non-Quebec: $5,555.92
International: $10,951.28

Internships Offer a practicum course for 3 credits where students are placed in a supervised field practice. Field work should total 120 hours over 12 weeks.

Additional Programs Research Colloquia is offered to MLIS students to help enrich their knowledge of developments in the Library and Information Studies Fields.
Refer to specialization contacts-they serve as coordinators for the practicum courses as well.
