Legislative Researcher/Translator - Ukrainian to English - LAC Group

Location: USA - Virtual - Remote

LAC Group UK is seeking virtual Legislative Researchers/Translators fluent in both Ukrainian and English for a short-term engagement that can be undertaken remotely, from home. Assignments will be allocated during 2019 and success with the first may lead to further opportunities. The selected individual, in addition to having native or native-like fluency in Ukrainian, must be fluent in English and be able to present good written English.

The focus is a review of current legislation of Ukraine and the recording of specific elements thereof. Candidates should be good communicators and be able to demonstrate previous research experience. Previous legal training or experience is not necessary but some familiarity with legal terminology would be desirable. Full project descriptions will be provided, supervisors appointed and on-line training will be provided.

Pay rates for this work are limited to US$20 (or equivalent) per hour. Candidates who do not provide a covering note, will not be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who do not currently have full-time work commitments and could devote at least 20 hours per week to this project.​
