| School Library Media Program/Certification | Two internships are required in the library and information services/school library media specialist track: one in an elementary school and one in a secondary school. One of the two internships must be in a high-needs school. In addition, 100 hours of supervised pre-internship field experience are also required. | Internships | Yes, an internship program is offered to students. In order to complete the 3-credit internship, each student works for 150 hours in the host organization under the direct supervision of an on-site mentor. Internships are also required for the School Media Specialist Program |
